AUGUSTINIAN.MONASTERY 1180 – 1990
A former Augustinian monastery established around 1180, left abandoned for more than 30 years ago around 1990. For many years there are plans to convert it into a nursing home.
Never before have I been to the same location 3 times in 1 year. This monastery managed to lure me 3 times in such a short time.
The first time was a normal visit to take pictures, the second time we had an appointment there with 2 other German photographers whom I only spoke online until then. It was nice to see each other in real life, although shaking hands was out of the question due to covid regulations.
And the 3rd visit was more like an assignment because someone wanted to have a certain corner photographed to wallpaper an entire wall in their house.
